MESSAGE FROM THE 18TH STATE REPRESENTATIVE

Brothers of the Great State of Alabama,   I humbly greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our Supreme Basileus. I am both honored and privileged to serve as the 18th State Representative of the Alabama Statewide Organization – 7th District, of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. I take this charge of leadership with enthusiasm and the knowledge of the tremendous legacy left by the 17 elected State Representatives before me. I want to thank now Immediate Past State Representative Chris Brooks and the entire council for the work they have done over the past 2½ years. I also congratulate him on being elected as our 7th District 1st Vice District Representative. Personally, I want to thank him for his friendship and trust in me as 1st Vice State Representative. His trust allowed me to assist in conducting state business and to formulate a plan for my administration. We are living in different times. With the COVID-19 Global Pandemic affecting our lives in every way, we must and have adjusted to this current “new” way of life. We must also adapt to this new way of life fraternally, in order to live our creed of effectively serving our communities. This includes taking an upfront role in the 2020 U.S. Census, as well as the upcoming 2020 Elections.  Omega leadership in our communities is vital to the change needed in the very fabric of our political landscape. I trust and know that you will join me as we recommit to conducting the business of Omega through our various chapter projects and endeavors that affect our communities.   Brothers, I am excited about what is in store for our Great State and I ask for your support as we continue to move our State forward to realize and attain the greatness I know we can achieve. Let’s move together in FRIENDSHIP, which is indeed, ESSENTIAL to the SOUL  May the Lord bless you, your families and our beloved Fraternity!
